The global COVID-19 response has brought many changes and challenges to our daily lives, but one thing rings true for residents of Maroondah is our sense of community spirit.

To support our community during this time, Council has joined the Be Kind movement and has launched the Be Kind Maroondah campaign; a campaign aimed at promoting kindness and goodwill, and building the resilience of our community. 

With businesses doing it tough during the current restrictions, a key element of the campaign is encouraging the community to ‘Be Kind to Business’.

By shopping locally, they are not only supporting small businesses, but are also supporting local job growth and helping to build strong, vibrant communities.

Council is also encouraging the community to post their stories about how they or someone they know is being kind to a local business.
