Digital Solutions Program

The Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS) program provides low-cost, high-quality digital advisory services to small businesses across Victoria.

What is included in the program?

The program supports your online business needs by offering the following:

1. Group workshops and webinars (Free)

Workshops and webinars are often the entry point into the program for small businesses. Workshop topics vary, but all centre around the following core areas:

  • Website and Selling Online
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing
  • Small Business Software Tools
  • Online Privacy and Security

2. Online learning platform (Free)

The Online Learning Platform offers step-by-step learning to bridge the gaps in your business.

These easy-to-follow lectures can be completed at your own pace, in your own time. The modules provide all the information you need to digitise your business.

3. Mentoring (add-on paid service)

Mentoring is an optional add-on service. New program participants can purchase up to 4 hours of mentoring at $25 for 2 hours via the Digital Solutions Mentoring website. New participants can only purchase mentoring after you have successfully completed the program registration form and received an access code to the Digital Solutions Mentoring website.

Mentoring will provide your small business with a Digital Needs Assessment and an Implementation Plan. The appointment can be self-directed, so if you have questions or are seeking personal guidance with your online activities, this is your opportunity!

How much does the program cost?

Workshops, webinars, and the online learning platform are all FREE. You can access one-on-one mentoring for a cost of $25 for 2 hours (up to 4 hours in total) as an add-on program service.

Are you eligible?

To access the program's services, you must be operating for-profit in Victoria and have under 20 full-time equivalent employees. Sole traders can also access the program. Your business must have an ABN.

How do you sign up?

Simply fill out the program registration form and a member of the ASBAS team will contact you. Once you have submitted this form, a Business Consultant from Melbourne Innovation Centre will contact you within 2 business days to discuss the needs of your business and how the program can best support you.

When does the program end?

The program runs until 30 June 2021. In that time you can access your allocation of workshops and webinars. Add-on mentoring is likely to reach capacity before that time, so we recommend booking early.
